Ajou University:

The educational goal of our university is to cultivate 'people of the world, culture, creators, professionals, and co-workers'. Core competencies are 'sensitivity, communication, creativity, thinking, and openness.'

In 1971, when Korea's modernization and industrialization were in full swing, both Korea and France signed an agreement on the establishment of a Korean-University College to exchange technology and culture through education. Under this agreement, Aju University, the predecessor of Ajou University, was founded by Yushin Academy, founded in March 1973 by President Park Shin-won of Yushin Express Tourist Corporation.
