Bucerius Law School

The Bucerius Law School is the first private university for jurisprudence in Germany with doctoral and habilitation law. It was founded in 2000 by the ZEIT Foundation Ebelin and Gerd Bucerius. The Bucerius Law School is state recognized and accredited by the Science Council.

  • The university profits from the very active network of more than 2,000 international alumni and the support of liaison offices in the USA and China.
  • A total of twelve seminar rooms and three lecture halls, all state-of-the-art, enable efficient teaching. 
  •  In 2011, the converted attic was inaugurated in the east wing of the historic main building. In the new attic there are 22 student workgroup rooms, which are used for group work, especially in the exam preparation
