A path that will challenge them, inspire them, and prepare them for life and work. One that iscentered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God, one that will give them a broad perspective on the world that is engaging and purposeful, one that will change their life and take them in a direction that will make a difference in this world and the lives of those around them. We know these are important days. The need for men and women of character, who are biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent is great. We believe that a Cairn education prepares graduates to meet that need. We believe this is a way worth traveling.

Cairn University exists to educate students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent men and women of character.

In 1958, PBI became Philadelphia College of Bible when the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania granted the institution approval to offer a four-year program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Bible degree. This established PCB as a school for training students for vocational ministry in the church and related organizations.
