Granite State College is a public college in Concord, New Hampshire. It is a member of the University System of New Hampshire.
Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Concord, Granite State College is one of the four institutions of the University System of New Hampshire. The primary focus of the college is to serve as the system's choice institution for adults and other college students who value an accessible and affordable education, delivered at local campuses and online. Dr. Mark Rubinstein currently serves as the president of the college.
Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Granite State College offers associate and bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, post-baccalaureate programs for teacher education, transfer opportunities, and 100% online degree programs.
In 2018, Granite State College garnered recognition from U.S. News & World Report in their compilation of the "Best Online Degree Programs", ranking 71st for bachelor's degrees and 89th for graduate business degrees. In both categories, Granite State is the top college or university in New Hampshire to achieve this honor.
In addition, Granite State College achieved a #13 ranking in the Washington Monthly 2017 Best Colleges for Adult Learners, securing the #1 spot in New England.
In July 2014, a report released by the US Department of Education recognized Granite State College as the least expensive college in New England based on tuition and fees. The study only included four-year schools.
