Hochschule 21

The college 21 is a private college in Buxtehude in Lower Saxony

The university pursues a scientific approach in teaching with a high practical relevance: in the dual study programs, theoretical and practical phases alternate in a quarterly rhythm. The study aims thus strongly at a vocational qualification. Some of the students are employees posted by companies. The other part applies for free and brings the employer to the university. Admission to the degree course, however, is also possible without a permanent practice partner - the university places applicants within a network of around 1,000 companies.

All Bachelor degrees are state recognized. Ensuring the quality of teaching is ensured by state accreditation procedures. In November 2012, the Science Council reached an opinion [11]to the successful institutional reaccreditation eight years after the foundation "on the whole to a good rating of the university 21. [...] The dual study offers of the university 21 meet the formulated demand to train specialists and junior executives for the region, and meet the needs smaller and medium-sized companies. The study program is overall convincing and has been complemented by the mechatronics and physiotherapy sectors. "In addition to the recurrent institutional reaccreditation, all degree programs regularly undergo independent examination procedures and are entitled to bear the seal of the Accreditation Council.
