Hochschule Biberach

The Biberach University (HBC until 2005: University of Applied Sciences Biberach ) is a public University of Applied Sciences in Biberach in Baden-Württemberg. Her main areas of teaching and research are in the fields of construction, energy, business administration and biotechnology.

The research activities of HBC are currently bundled in seven specialist institutes. To strengthen technology transfer, a regional innovation and technology transfer centre ITZ Plus is currently being set up to provide research opportunities for start-ups and interested citizens.

Since 1983, the Academy of the University of Biberach exists (until 2011: Bauakademie Biberach ) as a non-profit foundation and further education institution. In addition to training courses and seminars for professionals (about 1500 participants per year), the Academy offers a number of part-time and paid graduate programs.

Biberach University currently has 39 university partnerships in 25 countries.  are highlighted including the binational Master Program Engineering Management, the since 2012 in cooperation with the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán in Argentina is offered and funded by the German-Argentine University Center.
