The Catholic Institute of Toulouse (ICT), called "  The Catholic  " or "the Institute", is a private institution of higher education including faculties of Arts and Humanities, law and theology, as well as higher schools professional.

Placed in the centre of Toulouse, rue de la Fonderie in buildings built between the xivth and the xviiith century the Institute is shared between the various faculties and institutes. It includes three amphitheatres, a library, a chapel, many rooms, research laboratories, an archaeological and historical museum.

The Catholic Institute's university library contains approximately 100,000 books, including 25,000 open-access volumes, nearly 200 periodical titles, and the patrimonial collection of approximately 21,000 volumes prior to 1815, including a collection of manuscripts, incunabula and iconographic material. Some heritage works are digitized on Tolosana, including the " book of kings  [ archive ] ", a manuscript of the seventeenth century. containing the signatures of many kings of France and princes of blood.
