Founded in 1969, Toulouse Institute of Technology (also called National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse or INPT) is a French university cluster[2] based in Toulouse, France, part of University of Toulouse.[3] The Institute is composed of seven schools (six engineering schools and one school of veterinary medicine) and 17 research laboratories. The Institute delivers master's degrees and PhD. It is a member of Institut au service du spatial, de sees applications et technologies.
The research at the INP Toulouse is carried out in 17 laboratories, anchored in the heart of its schools, quality recognized by major research organizations (CNRS, INRA ) or the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and of research. They are composed of 700 teacher-researchers. The institute's research is also involved in major national technological operations (networks, incubators, start-ups).
Student life at INP Toulouse is structured around a hundred associations and student clubs specific to each school. The student association Toulouse-INP (AE) gathers all these clubs and student associations and allows the sharing of moments between students of all the schools of Toulouse INP. Its role is to represent students on the board of directors, the council of studies and student life, the scientific council). The AE also brings together the offices of the pupils of the schools. Then each school benefits from its own associations and clubs.
