International Humanitarian University

On the basis of the provisions of the national program "Education", the principles of the Concept for the Development of Humanitarian Education in Ukraine and the requirements of the current legislation, on August 20, 2002, the International Humanitarian University was established as a non-state higher educational institution with a collective ownership form. 
The time of the university's establishment was successful, and its place of establishment in the university-developed region is justified. This is evidenced by the fact that over the seven years of the university's existence there has been formed a qualified human potential of the selected educational activities, the necessary educational and methodological support has been developed, an appropriate material base has been restored, and the corresponding social infrastructure of the university has been created.

The first set in 2003 was only 100 entrants. Now more than 3,520 students study at four faculties and two institutes of the university. They learn the programs of training specialists in 17 specialties. 
The university has a cultural center, a cinema club. Next is the construction of a 24-storey dormitory, a conference room, a sports center, a student cafe, and the most modern library facilities.
