Kemerovo State Medical University

Founded in 1955, Kemerovo State Medical University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Kemerovo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Kemerovo Oblast.

Kemerovo is a city in Russia located in the south of Western Siberia, in the northern part of Kuznetsk coal basin. Being the capital of the Kemerovo region, it is an important administrative, economic, scientific, cultural, transport, and industrial centre of the country, standing on both banks of the Tom River, about 3,630 km east of Moscow.
