Mediadesign Hochschule

The Mediadesign College of Design and Computer Science (also: MD.H) is a private, state-approved university founded in 2004. It has study sites in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Munich. The institution of the university is the Mediadesign University of Design and Informatics GmbH based in Berlin. It is privately owned. Chancellor of the university is Hartmut Bode. Since 2010, the Mediadesign Hochschule has been institutionally accredited by the Wissenschaftsrat.

Degree programs are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees. Depending on the degree program and the degree, the course lasts three to seven semesters and is divided into various modules. The size of the seminar groups is on average 20 people. Studying at the Mediadesign Hochschule is only possible after a successfully completed admission procedure.

The school education at Mediadesign University prepares for a state-approved final exam. It includes 18 months of full-time education and 18 months internship. The training prepares for a state examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The size of the training classes is on average 24 people.

In addition to the study and training courses, evening courses are offered in which new-media skills are taught alongside work. These include the courses graphic design, media design, online marketing and web design. Furthermore, the Mediadesign University of Design and Computer Science offers media camps every year during the summer months.
