Odessa National Maritime University

At the moment of its foundation, the Odessa National Maritime University remains the only one in its vocation, purpose, organizational structure, extensive and glorious history, created for decades by its teachers and graduates. Our higher educational institution is well-known today in Ukraine itself and far beyond its borders. However, despite the insignificant age compared with the well-known national universities, OIIVT-ONMU takes the first place in the founders of engineering marine education. Looking at the long-term segment of the past, we present a brief outline of the main historical stages, which was held by a team of several generations of scientists and staff of OIWT-ONMU - people who glorified our institution, identifying themselves with him.
