The Technical University of Brandenburg ( THB ) is a state university of applied sciences in Brandenburg a der Havel. It was founded in 1992 as a University of Applied Sciences Brandenburg ( FHB ), with which the city of Brandenburg became the first university city. The site of the Brandenburg University of Technology is located on a campus in the Old Town district, a former barracks complex from the 19th century. About 2,650 students are supervised by about 260 employees of the university. The focus of the study program in three subject areas focuses on the so-called MINT subjects.
