The University of Alberta is a strong supporter of Campus Alberta. When the provincial government created Campus Alberta in 2002 the U of A took on an active leadership role promoting excellence, access and efficiency across Alberta’s post-secondary sector. Our leadership includes programming and research partnerships, as well as administrative collaborations.
As a community, the University of Alberta has developed one long-term, multi-layered plan to guide the overall decision-making and governance processes of the University of Alberta. At the highest level, “For the Public Good” is meant to empower and enable each member of the University of Alberta to build, experience, excel, engage, and sustain.
The University of Alberta launches the NEOS Library Consortium, an information and resource sharing project that enables 17 government, health, college and university libraries to cost-effectively share library resources, technology, collections and staff.
