Zeppelin University

The Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance is a state-recognized private foundation university accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg.

Studies can with the academic degrees of Bachelor of Arts (8 semesters / 240 ECTS) and both the consecutive and the not-a consecutive Master of Arts or Master of Science(ECTS 4 semesters / 120) to be completed. In addition to undergraduate teaching in the bachelor and master programs, the university also offers part-time executive programs as well as continuing education programs for companies.

The students are introduced to scientific research at an early age: a joint research project ("Zeppelin project") has to be prepared already in the first year of the Bachelor's degree. In the sixth and seventh semester, the ability to perform the so-called "Humboldt year," a project funded by the university, student research project is beyond. Students also have room for their own research projects. Every year there is a conference on student research. Through the Research Support System (FUSY)  Promising research activities of young scientists can be financially supported.

There are around 59 student initiatives. These include the education initiative " Rock Your Life ", the campus radio "Welle20", the university newspaper "ZU | Daily", the student magazine "futurdrei" , the debating club "Soapbox", the "Club of International Politics "with its own MUN group, the founding conference" Tatendrang ", the culture festival" seekult ", the" Entrepreneurs Club ", the career fair" ZUtaten ", the student consultancy" why not ", the International Student Group and several political university groups.
