Ivanovo State Academy of Agriculture

Established in 1918, Ivanovo State Academy of Agriculture is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the small city of Ivanovo (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ivanovo Oblast.

Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Ivanovo State Academy of Agriculture is a coeducational higher education institution.

   The theoretical knowledge of students of the Academy have the opportunity to fix the period of industrial practice in teaching and experimental farm, specialized veterinary clinic at the training farm, arboretum, in the advanced economies Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Vladimir and Moscow regions. The best students have the opportunity to undergo training in Germany, the USA, England, America, Finland.

Academy students have ample opportunities not only for training on the chosen speciality but also to participate actively in research work. As part of the Student Scientific Society of developing projects to help agriculture, scientific conferences.                    The Academy has 9 sports clubs, sports day is held annually on 5 kinds of sports. High school athletes win prizes at zonal and national competitions.

                    The Academy has four hostels located in the city centre near the university. For all non-resident students at the time of the admission, tests will be given seats in the dorms. For applicants who have successfully survived the introductory tests and will be enrolled in the students, will be allocated 300 seats.

Nonresident students live in four comfortable dormitories (accommodation paid). Dorm rooms are designed for 2-3 people. For self-study, the implementation of term papers and projects in each dorm room is equipped with work. In addition, there are small sports and exercise rooms, shower rooms.
