The Academic Council of Vitus Bering Kamchatka State University (hereinafter referred to as the Academic Council) is a collegiate body and carries out general management of the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education “Vitus Bering State University Kamchatka” (hereinafter referred to as the University).
The order of organization of the academic council, its meetings and decision-making is determined by the regulations of the academic council, which is adopted by the academic council at its meeting and approved by the rector of the university.
The term of office of the academic council of the university is 5 years.
The decisions of the academic council on matters within its competence are binding for all employees and students.
The Academic Council may establish permanent and temporary commissions on specific issues of the university’s activities.
