Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University

Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University is the oldest institution of higher education in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Its long history began in 1932 - the year of the opening of the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical Institute by the Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR No. 289 of October 1, 1932. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 14, 1982, the institute was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.

In 1993, by a joint decision of the Colleges of the State Committee of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical Institute was reorganized into the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University (Order of the State Committee of 12.15.93, No. 458 and the Ministry of Education of 21.12.93, No. 519).

In January 2004, by the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dated 28. 01. 2004 No. 284, the university was renamed into the state educational institution of higher professional education “Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafieva "(short name - GOU VPO KSPU them. In May 2011, by order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation of May 25, 2011 No. 1761, the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University was renamed to the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Professional Education “Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University. V.P. Astafieva "(abbreviated name of KSPU named after VP Astafyev)
