RTU MIREA (full name of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education "MIREA - Russian Technological University") is an institution of higher education in Moscow, which was formed in 2015 as a result of the merger of MIREA, MGUPI, M.V. Lomonosov MITHT and a number of educational, scientific, design and production organizations.

It was founded in 1947 as All-Union Correspondence Power Institute, and in 1967 the government resolution of June 30, 1967 No. 588 transformed it into Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation which started day-time students training.
