Penza State University of Architecture and Construction

Founded in 1958, Penza State University of Architecture and Construction is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Penza (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Penza Oblast.

It Offers:

1) Regional branches of the Russian Union of builders, the Union of Russian Federation Architects and Russian Federation Designers organize regular professional exhibitions, conferences and round tables

2) The museum of PSUAC is a public organization founded in 1983, in the year of the 25th anniversary of the University. The exhibits of the museum are devoted to the military and labour glory of the teachers and the students. They tell about the history and achievements of faculties and departments of the university. The museum has close links with the other museums of the city.

3) The students club is the students’ community, where they meat according to their interests. The club has STSM (students theatre stage miniatures), a team of KVN, faculty team of amateur art. They take part in the university and city holidays.

4) Regular applied art and photo exhibitions and presentation of the teachers and students and the artists of the city. Annual All-Russian Youth Forum named after Tatlin, which comprises Olympiads in drawing and composition for students and schoolchildren. The participants are from Poland, China,Turkey, Ukraine.

5) Charitable work of the architectural faculty teachers in charitable foundation “Blagovest”.
